My name is Emily, and I'm a 20-something, gluten-free vegan with an array of sensitivities. I started this blog in 2012 with the goal of channeling my digestive frustrations into my passion for cooking (and, let's be honest, eating). This passion is also shared by many of my foodie friends, and over a multitude of potlucks, family dinners and efforts to accommodate, I was branded with the nickname and title for this blog.
In the spirit of full-disclosure, you will not find on this site: politically motivated posts about veganism, rants about stigma and gluten-free diets, whimsical posts on the meaning of life or 1000 pictures of my outrageously fluffy cat (the most self control here). This blog is for anyone- whether you're cutting things out as a lifestyle choice, your body made the decision for you or you're just into trying new things.
Outside of measuring spoons, things I hold dear include paintbrushes, DIY projects, seeds, my camera, running shoes and early morning tea. I also love hearing from you, so please feel free to drop me a line!
